After Majili and super deluxe the south Indian actress, Samantha Akkineni is now ready to entertain the fans with her new upcoming movie titled ‘Oh Baby’.
‘Oh Baby’ is a Tollywood upcoming movie, it is completely mixed of fantasy, comedy, and drama. The movie is directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy and produced by Sunitha Tati under the banner of 3 different production companies named Peoples Media Factory, Suresh productions, and Guru Films. The movie is starring Samantha Akkineni, Lakshmi, Naga Shaurya, Urvashi, Snigdha, Rao Ramesh and Rajendra Prasad in the lead roles. The film music is composed by Mickey. J. Meyer.
The ‘Oh Baby’ movie is the remake of South Korean movie ‘Miss Granny’ which features a 74-year-old widow who enters the body of 20-year young girl. The movie was directed by Hwang Dong-Hyuk. In the Korean language, ‘Miss Granny’ movie was released in the year January 22, 2014, with a budget of US$3.2 million and the movie grossed the box office nearly US$51.7 million with a huge box office hit.
In Korean, the movie ‘Miss Granny’ in the year 2014 and 2015 has won 13 different awards for different category and has got 18 nominations.
After the huge success of ‘Miss Granny’, the movie got started to remake in different languages from different countries, in Chinese remake titled ’20 once again’, in Vietnamese remake titled ‘Sweet 20’, in Japanese remake titled ‘Sing My Life’, in Thai remake titled ‘Suddenly 20’, an Indonesian remake titled ‘Sweet 20’, in Philippines remake entitled ‘Miss Granny’, and finally in Telugu the remake is titled ‘Oh Baby’ and even it is getting remade in German which is in development.
Finally, after inspired by ‘Miss Granny’ the movie is getting remade in the Telugu language as ‘Oh baby’ the title is inspired by the one of the song ‘Yentha Sakkagunnave’ from the movie ‘Rangasthalam’ which describes the beauty of Samantha Akkineni.
